Inference model
y^=fθ(x)
JA 日本語

EN English
This standard form maps input x through f, parameterized by θ, to prediction y^. y^ is a model output and does not guarantee truth or correctness. It describes AI-system inference, not an independent scientific result.
Mean squared error
L=n1i=1∑n(yi−y^i)2
EN English
L is the average squared difference between observed values yi and predictions y^i over n samples. A lower value only indicates lower error on that sample; it does not guarantee generalization or causality. Comparisons require the same loss definition and evaluation data.
θ denotes parameters, η the learning rate, and ∇θL the loss gradient. The update is a procedure for locally reducing loss, not a convergence guarantee. Results depend on smoothness, learning rate, initialization, and stochastic-gradient variation.
Softmax probability
pi=∑j=1Kexp(zj)exp(zi)
EN English
zi is the score for class i, and pi is a mathematical probability whose values sum to one across K classes. It is a model distribution, not a guarantee of calibrated real-world probability or correctness. Probabilistic classification is assumed, with separate calibration and validation required.

EN English
A is the share of observation time Ttotal remaining after downtime Tdown. Overlapping outage intervals must be de-duplicated before aggregation. The observation window, covered function, and treatment of planned downtime must be defined in advance.
For ordered empirical samples ℓ(1)≤⋯≤ℓ(n), P95 is the ⌈0.95n⌉-th value. n is sample size and ℓ is per-request latency. A representative sample and a consistent quantile convention are required.

EN English
Binary search takes asymptotically O(log2n) comparisons for n elements. It assumes sorted data and random access to the middle element. This denotes growth rate, not literal runtime, and omits implementation, memory hierarchy, and I/O effects.

EN English
P is principal, r the rate per period, n the number of periods, and FV future value. The period units of r and n must match. Taxes and fees are excluded, and no future-value forecast is guaranteed.
Discounted present value
PV=(1+r)nFV
EN English
PV is the present value obtained by discounting future value FV over n periods at rate r. It assumes r>−1 and matching period units for r and n. Rate selection materially affects the result and does not guarantee future outcomes.
TP, FP, and FN are true positives, false positives, and false negatives. The respective metric is undefined when its denominator is zero. For imbalanced data, interpret these measures with prevalence and thresholds rather than using either alone.
Δ is the reconciliation difference: total inflows minus total outflows and the balance change. It assumes classified transactions in the same period and currency. Δ=0 only satisfies the defined reconciliation condition; it is not proof of a complete audit.

EN English
x and y are nonzero embedding vectors; their dot product is normalized by their norms. The score measures representational similarity, not necessarily semantic similarity, legal identity, or legality. Retrieved candidates require supporting evidence and human review.
Evidence coverage
C=NmaterialNsupported
EN English
C is a design-example definition: the share of defined material items Nmaterial supported by evidence Nsupported. It is undefined when the denominator is zero. A high value does not guarantee legal correctness, completeness, or a conclusion.
This design example requires human review when H=1; s is a 0-to-1 score and τ is a threshold. Calibration of s and validation of τ are required, with critical rules or missing evidence also opening the gate. It routes work to review and is not automated legal judgment.

EN English
H is a hash function, ∥∥ denotes concatenation, and canonical denotes canonical byte encoding. A digest chain assists tamper detection, while authenticity requires timestamps and independent anchors. It is not legal proof and includes no smart-contract assets.

Information Sovereignty and International Security Network Theory
A reference domain connecting policy, verification and authority issues around SIGINT with institutional and network concepts around MMP / Web3. The expressions below are general definitions and design examples, not interception or intrusion procedures.
Michio Ezaki's intelligence and security work is connected as a user-designated intellectual reference. His JICSS biography lists a co-authored SIGINT book. The label used here does not imply his official involvement or endorsement. SIGINT is discussed at the level of concepts, policy, authority and verification.
MMP and Web3 are included as user-designated institutional and technological references associated with Manabu Matsuda. His institute's own explanation covers fiscal and monetary policy, currency, cybersecurity and blockchain. Policy concepts, software and established operational institutions are distinct; no currency value or fiscal effect is guaranteed.
JA 日本語
Information Sovereignty and International Security Network Theory
The existing InfoSovereign essay connects information sovereignty, information asymmetry, state SIGINT capacity and distributed international networks. In AI-assisted analysis, provenance, authority, errors and human decisions should be recorded separately. The original site's self-assessment is not treated as independent validation or proof of optimal security outcomes.
pi denotes a discrete-event probability, with pi≥0, ∑ipi=1, and 0log0=0. The unit is bits. Entropy describes uncertainty, not the lawfulness of collection or the effectiveness of a security policy.
Bayesian updating with evidence
P(H∣E)=P(E)P(E∣H)P(H)
EN English
H is a hypothesis and E evidence, with P(E)>0. Results depend on priors and likelihoods, so provenance, error and independence require assessment. Updating a probability does not establish a hypothesis as fact.
Representing a verifiable network
G=(V,E),Aij=1[(i,j)∈E]
EN English
V is a set of entities or institutions, E defined connections, and A the adjacency matrix. Connectivity, trustworthiness, authority and independence are separate properties. This representation does not prove that distributed networks are always optimal.
A design example requiring authentication, explicit authorization, a valid purpose, and an allowed scope. Unknown conditions are not treated as permission; human review, applicable law, and safeguards remain necessary. This is neither an implementation that grants access nor a legal determination.

A hypothetical eight supported items out of ten material items. The 80% is a defined coverage ratio, not legal correctness, lawfulness, or an audit pass rate.
